Mark Twain once wrote a story for the newspaper in Virginia City called “A Ghost Story,” and some say his story was based in fact. The fact is that this century-old hotel boasts many sightings of ghosts. Some say there is a giant lady wearing a gown made up of silver coins who walks the halls knocking on guests’ room doors.
