10. The Myrtles Plantation: Saint Francisville, Louisiana

The Myrtles Plantation was constructed in 1796. Since then many people have found their way onto the property, while at least a dozen have stayed on forever. As one of the most haunted places in the US, this establishment is frequented by Sara Woodruff and her two kids—in their ghostly form, of course. These three love to touch the mirrors of the rooms, leaving behind their fingerprints. Look out for ghostly horse riders and boot steps on the floors as the masculine ghosts tour the grounds.
