5. Orangutans

Like the tiger, orangutans are becoming endangered; unlike the tigers it’s not only possible to see them in the wild but even to feed them. These curious, furry relatives of ours have incredible intelligence and a great propensity to meet new people. You can see them in Kutai National Park, where some 700 orangutans are estimated to live.
