4. Sappada, Veneto

When you want cheese but not all of the fat, head east to Veneto. Sappada is somewhat similar to what you would expect Swiss to look like, only better. The color is straw and it is middle between soft and hard. You will even find small holes in it. Better yet, Sappada has a beautiful aroma that will remind you of the flowery region in which it is made.
