Your pet is a lot like you. When you feel far out of your comfort zone, you may not sleep as well, you are more prone to being grouchy, and you might be more afraid. Your pet is the same. Be sure to keep them safe and feeling as secure as you can. Include a favorite pet or blanket with a familiar scent, and consider practicing relaxation techniques before you leave.
