9. Argentina

Most Argentinians are of Italian, Spanish, Austrian, French, German, English, Portugese, Russian, Swiss, and Polish descent. Perhaps that’s why they mainly identify with Europeans. And just like in much of Europe, Argentinians consider the thumbs up sign vulgar and obscene, so unless you really want to offend someone, no thumbs up! They feel the same way about the O.K. hand sign.
