2. Coral Reefs

No other nation in the world boasts larger or more diverse collections of corals than Indonesia. Due to the intersecting currents of the Pacific and the Indian Oceans, this collection of islands features more species of fish in a single acre than you would find in all of North America’s Great Lakes. Dive down to the depths or snorkel at the top, keeping close eyes out for sea turtles and snakes receptive to gentle pats on the head.
