14. Make friends with the Pacific on the Pacific Coast Highway

You could probably drive up and down California State Route 1 a million times and you’d see something new on each adventure. The most-traveled stretch of the Pacific Coast Highway (or the PCH to the locals) sits between Monterey in the north and Morrow Bay in the south. However, if you had a few weeks (or months) to spend on an epic road trip, you could start at the Mexican border and travel up the coast, all the way to Canada.
