There are many reasons people head to Paris. The top tourist destination in the world attracts millions of visitors a year, thanks to its world-class museums, incomparable architecture, amazing restaurants and fabulous shopping. Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga; all the top fashion houses in the world can be found on golden streets like the rue Faubourg Saint-Honore. Their sparkling storefronts beckoning both you and your American Express Black card indoors. Oh, you don’t have a Black Card? Luckily for you, there are 9 magical yet very real places throughout Paris where you can get a whole lot of flash for very little cash.

1. Avenue Montaigne

If money is truly no object, or if you’re willing to treat yourself to even a tiny trinket from one of the top fashion houses, head over to Avenue Montaigne. Located in the 8th arrondisement, the street is home to uber-luxe shops like Fendi, Dior and Bulgari. You may not be able to justify getting that limited edition red mink coat from Blumarine, but you’ll probably be able to look your accountant in the face if you bought the limited edition nail polish from the Dior store.
