13. Go for a Bike Ride

Step outside in Amsterdam and you’ll quickly learn that the roads are made for two wheels, the kind that come on a bicycle. Rental companies abound, so grab a bicycle lock and a map and take off. Leave the helmet at home unless you want to look like a tourist.
