4. Destin and San Destin, Florida

Destin Florida is part of the “Emerald Coast,” which runs all along Highway 98 through three major towns, Destin, Ft. Walton, and Panama City Beach, and several other small cities. Destin is one of the favorite picks for newlyweds and couples because it is slightly less populated than the more popular Ft. Walton Beach and Panama City Beach. Culture abounds and the nightlife is great too. There is plenty to do for the romantic at heart, including sailboat rides where you are the captain, hunting for seashells on the beaches late at night, and moonlit walks under the stars with the ocean waves lapping around your feet.
