3. Pack an extra SD card for the Red Rock Scenic Byway

You’d better have a good set of brakes when you drive the Red Rock Scenic Byway since you’ll stop every few feet to snap a photograph or catch another amazing view. Beginning around 100 miles north of Phoenix, Arizona on State Route 179, the Byway passes through incredible rock formations, kitschy artist enclaves like Sedona, and the wilds of Coconino National Forest.
