9. Yosemite Falls, Sierra Nevada, California

The highest waterfall in America, Yosemite Falls, reaches its peak in the late spring. Hike along gorgeous trails to explore the top and bottom of the falls as well as the area’s five smaller falls. Then, explore the village of the Ahwahneechee people at the base of the falls. This vacation has to take place in the spring as the falls often dry up in the summer.
