2. The Matterhorn

The Matterhorn provides a truly awe-inspiring view, with such sharp angles and impossible faces that it was one of the last mountains in the Alps to be climbed. With four faces each facing the four compass points, the Matterhorn is so treacherous that it has claimed the lives of over 500 mountain climbers in the past 150 years.
