The exalted Ganden Monastery and the peering Potala Palace will soon disappear from the world if social structures continue to impede on Tibet. Located at the zenith of the Himalayas, Tibet has been under severe restrictions from the Chinese government since the 1950s. The Chinese continue to block access to Tibet, and the culture there is losing its ability to survive.
