3. Independent Thrift Stores and Boutiques

Paris is filled with independent shops and boutiques that sell haute couture as well as clothing from smaller, local designers. Head out to the Marais in order to find great deals on clothes that are eclectic, beautiful and cool but won’t be strutting down anyone’s runway anytime soon. One great place to check out if you’re looking for really unique clothing at reasonable prices is Merci, located on Boulevard Beaumarchais. For hip, cool one-of-a-kind dresses, check out stores like Free ‘P’ Star, also located in the Marais area.
