A king cake made with…bacon? Why not? America’s love affair with this savory pork product is famous, after all, and Jennifer Noble of the Cheeky Monkey Cake Company in Mississippi decided to combine this local favorite with her version of king cake. Noble’s recipe calls for maple cream cheese filling, maple syrup and bacon crumbles. Sound delicious? Regulars to the Cheeky Monkey seem to think so.
