If you prefer finding shark teeth to getting bitten by them, then head over to Venice Beach, which is known as the “Shark Tooth Capital of the World.” The fossilized teeth you can find on this beach once belonged to prehistoric sharks. Some people comb through the beach by hand in search of shark teeth and other types of fossils, while others utilize a specially designed basket to help them sift through the sand.
