5. Best Beach to Get Bit by a Shark – New Smyrna Beach

Sometimes referred to as the “Shark Bite Capital of the World,” New Smyrna Beach had recorded over 200 shark bites as of August 2011. More recently, three people in September 2013 were bitten within days of each other. Fortunately, none of the many shark bites in New Smyrna Beach have been fatal so far.
