3. Wait 24 Hours

You know how it works. You hem and haw, and finally book your flight or hotel. Then, the next day, the fare drops considerably. If you think this might happen, take a moment the next day to check prices. If it’s lower, call the airline or hotel to ask for a price change. Within 24 hours, many will allow you to cancel your previous booking and schedule at the lower cost. Some booking websites will even notify you of changes in price and credit your account.
