4. Guam is full of ‘Mushroom Statues’.

If you were to find yourself in Agana, the capital of Guam, you would probably run across gigantic mushroom looking statues. These are called latte stones. These stones have a mysterious past and an enshrouded history. There are no true consensus opinions on just what these stones did. Some scientists believe that the giant pillars were used as the foundations for upper class Chamorro homes. They now exist as a sign of Chamorro culture.
